Children use the ‘Passport to Learning’ to collect credits from validated ‘Learning Destinations’. The Learning Destinations will stamp or sign the Passport to Learning once the activity has been completed. Every hour of learning the children do at the Learning Destination is credited in their Passport to Learning. Once they attain 30 hours they will be awarded their first certificate; the Bronze award. If the children collect more hours they will achieve more certificates. More information can be found on the National Children's University™ website.
What is a Learning Destination?
Learning Destinations are places and organisations to which children can 'travel' with their Passport to Learning. They provide high quality learning activities and experiences with a 'wow' factor and have been validated by the Children's University's. Becoming a Learning Destination is a great way to promote your organisation or club and is free!

Then why not become a Learning Destination for Doncaster Children's University. Our aim is to focus on creating excitement about learning, inspiring children to learn, raising aspiration. We support children to become independent learners, drawing on local learning opportunities within a national framework.
