'celebrate' , student degree work exhibition , MAY - july 2016

Carey Sizer-Coy, Programme Leader of the FdA Illustration & Concept Art course, along with her colleague Keith Hume, Programme Leader of the BA(Hons) Illustration & Concept Art course have organized a six week exhibition at The Point Gallery, Doncaster town centre. Within this time frame there will be a series of three separate exhibitions, each lasting two weeks. Organizing it in this way allows each art, design and media degree programme areas the opportunity to fully showcase the diverse, creative talents of their students.

8th-16th June, 2016 - Illustration & Concept Art, Animation & Games Design and Fashion Design
22nd -30th June, 2016 – Graphic Design, Interactive Media and Independent Film
6th – 14th July, 2016 – Fine Art & Crafts and Photography

There is a diverse range of programmes, and with that comes an eclectic mix of student work and outcomes including: sketchbooks, 2D and 3D visual development, final prints, animated screenwork, textile designs, completed items of clothing, packaging design, corporate identity work, projection mapping, screen print, paintings, ceramics, sculpture and photography.

The work on display illustrates the diversity of creative projects undertaken by our students during their period of study with us - this exhibition isn’t just about ‘finished work,’ it also includes the creative process.

These three exhibitions are a way of both celebrating the creative artwork of our students, and allowing others to see what the University has to offer in means of Higher Educational study within the Art, Design and Media disciplines.

Everyone is welcome and the opening times are:
Mon & Fri                              10am – 4pm
Tues, Wed & Thurs              10am – 7pm
Sat                                           9am  – 1.30pm
