Our students on the Teacher Education courses at University Centre Doncaster come from varied age groups, backgrounds and subject specialisms but with a common goal – to teach. Our students have the expertise in their own specialism required in teaching and build their skills during the course to teach others the subject they are so passionate about.
Trainees who study for Postgraduate, Professional and Certificate in Education courses also attend a Professional Practice Conference at the University of Hull every year, in order to present studies of innovative and creative practice. Some of our students each year will also have the opportunity to publish a piece of work in the Journal of Research and Scholarship.
